THE POWER OF BEVLIEVING

There is not a person on the planet who has not told a white lie.  Those are the ones that cause little or no harm, like telling your spouse, "No, you don't look fat in that."  You can even convince yourself those pants aren't tight.  They just shrunk in the wash.

When you begin a sentence with, "I can't," you have already set yourself up for failure.  If you say you can't fly, I'll agree with you.  We are not birds.  We cannot fly.  We have other powers though, like making our dreams come true.  It may take some convincing, but it can be done.

Today's quote is, "We have the power to believe everything we tell ourselves whether it is true or not."  Tell me the truth.  Or rather, tell yourself the truth.  What was the last lie you told yourself?  When was the last time you boosted yourself up rather than tearing yourself down?

It's OK to be the champion of your own life.  Would it be nice if others cheered you on?  That goes without saying but it also isn't frequent.  Rely on you!  The most important person there is and remember to speak kindly to yourself.  Whether it is true or not, we will believe it, hook, line and sinker!
